Motorists urged to use caution in Calcutta area

ST. CLAIR — Ohio Department of Transportation is urging motorists to use caution through the Calcutta area due to multiple work zones on state Route 170 and the intersections of Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road and Dresden Avenue.

An ODOT official said three road construction projects are taking place in that area 24 hours a day, five to six days a week. Motorists are asked to slow down and pay attention to changing traffic patterns.
