AREA HOPEFULS This week, the Vindicator profiles four other area athletes who have a chance of being selected in this weekend's NFL Draft:

MONDAY
Steve Vallos, WakeForest. After redshirting his first year with the Demon Deacons, the Boardman Highgraduate started at tackle every game of his four-year career.
TUESDAY
Dave Herron, Michigan State. A former blocking back for Maurice Clarett at Warren Harding, Herron switched to linebacker early in his career and emerged as of the Spartans' few highlights during a tumultuous season last fall.
WEDNESDAY
Josh Swogger, Montana. After leading Ursuline to its only state title in 2000, Swogger's college career hasn't been quite was he expected. After five years at Washington State and one at Montana, his dream is in reach.
THURSDAY
Prescott Burgess, Michigan. Burgessleft Warren Hardingas Ohio's No. 1 recruit and became a solid contributor atlinebacker for a terrific Wolverinedefense.
