Speedway sponsors food bank benefit

HARTFORD — Sharon Speedway, 3241 Orangeville-Custer Road, will kick off the racing season on Saturday with a “Two for $2” event that will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Patrons who take two nonperishable food items to the event will receive $2 off an adult general admission ticket.

Food donations will be collected outside the gate from 4 p.m. until races begin at 6.

The special program will be offered each night of Fantastic Five point racing for the entire season.
