Prize winners
The names of the 2006 Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way campaign prize winners were drawn Tuesday. For pledging at least 156 a year, or 3 per week:
Atty. Linda Motosko of Canfield won first prize, a two-year lease on a new GM Lordstown-built Pontiac G5, courtesy of Sweeney Buick Pontiac GMC Chevrolet and Sky Bank. Motosko, of National City Bank, was chairwoman of the Leadership Division in the 2006 campaign.
Dianne Bulatko of Struthers won second prize, two round-trip airplane tickets to anywhere in the continental United States, courtesy of Carlson Wagonlit Travel. She is employed at Family Service Agency.
Walter Core of Austintown won third prize, a 1,000 gasoline card donated by True North Energy. He is employed at Macy's Midwest Distribution Center in North Jackson.
Also, donors who pledged at least 104 at year, or 2 a week, received a Community Benefits Coupon Book, which contains discounted products and services from 56 local businesses.
