Fire in Campbell causes 25,000 loss

CAMPBELL -- A house fire on Oxford Street did 25,000 damage to a house Tuesday afternoon, the fire department said.
The fire, which began in the attic, had begun to burn through the roof by the time firefighters arrived, the department said.
There was an arrival time delay, the department said, because the call was first routed to Youngstown. Youngstown also has an Oxford Street. The call went to Youngstown at 4:33 p.m., and Campbell got its call at 4:38 p.m., the department said.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be electrical. There were no injuries.
There was an earlier fire in Campbell at a vacant house at 162 Robinson Road, the department said. That fire is suspected to be arson.
