AUSTINTOWN -- Water will be shut off this morning to some residents on North Canfield Niles and West Radio roads and North Kimberly, Rutland Avenue and West Viola avenues, the Youngstown Water Department says.
A contractor will be relocating a waterline on state Route 46 as part of a widening project there.
Water was to be shut off at 9 a.m. and is expected to be restored by 4 p.m., the department said. After the water is back on, residents should boil it for one minute before using it for cooking or drinking.
The water department will announce when the water is tested and considered safe to drink without boiling.
