Residence: Windsor House, Liberty Health Care, in Liberty.
Born: March 27, 1907, on Calvin Street in Brier Hill, Youngstown. Parents: Carl and Angelina DiMaio
Siblings: Three brothers, John, Joe and Jesse, and a sister, Vencenza, who are deceased.
Background: Went to Naples, Italy, with her family around three years of age. Due to the war, they could not return to America at the end of the visit, and stayed in Italy until she was 14. After returning to America, the family bought a home on the North Side of Youngstown.
Employment: She was employed as a housekeeper at Northside Hospital for many years and took great pride in her work. Later she cared for her parents as they aged.
Church affiliations: Was very active at St. Anthony Church, where she helped make pizza every Friday for many years and also made Easter bread for the annual celebration.
Travels: Went back to Italy with a friend at the age of 85. While there, she traveled by train to Germany.
Activities: Enjoyed going out to eat and likes to have visitors. Has lots of friends and is very outgoing.
Celebrations: A friend held a birthday celebration for her on March 26 at Windsor, where the staff and residents also honored her during a party March 27.
