Anniversary party held in Boardman for the Evanchucks

XPOLAND -- A dinner party was held April 14 at T.J.'s Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, Boardman, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew K. Evanchuck, 9868 Unity Road, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's family, George A. and Liz Evanchuck of Struthers and Steven T. Evanchuck of Poland. There are also two grandchildren in the family.
The former Norma M. (Peggy) Glotfelty and Mr. Evanchuck were united in marriage April 20, 1957, at Davistown Evangelical United Brethren Church in Davistown, Pa.
Shortly after their marriage, the couple came to the Youngstown area, where Mr. Evanchuck was employed as a die filler at United Extrusion Dies in Canfield until he retired. He also served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mrs. Evanchuck is a homemaker and a member of the Free Methodist Community Church of New Middletown.
