Garland-Bowman engagement is being announced

The engagement of Heather L. Garland and Jeffrey Bowman II, both of 17740 U.S. Route 224, Berlin Center, is being announced by the couple and their parents, Timothy and Cheryl Garland, 3234 state Route 534, Southington, and Jeffrey and Julie Bowman of the Berlin Center address.Miss Garland is an accountant with Guardianship and Protective Services in Warren. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in justice studies and also holds a degree in accounting from Youngstown State University.
Mr. Bowman graduated from KSU with a mechanical engineer/industrial technician degree. He is a marine fabricator/manager with Berlin Boat Covers in Berlin Center.
Southington Christian Church will be the setting for the couple's 3 p.m. Sept. 28 wedding. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and also for an evening reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
