MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Diana L. Babbitt and Eric P. Besoiu were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Aaron Kerr at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9, 2006, at Stone United Methodist Church.
Parents of the bride are Gary and Terry Manross, 11328 Pawnee Drive, and the groom is a son of John and Marilyn Besoiu, 1304 Northfield Drive, Mineral Ridge.
A reception was held at the Hotel Conneaut in Conneaut Lake Park, Conneaut Lake, Pa., following the ceremony. Afterward, the couple left for a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean.
They live in Freedom, Pa.
The bride wore a strapless gown of white satin designed with box pleats and a satin-banded dropped waistline enhanced with a jeweled bow.
Honor attendants were Tricia Marchand and the bride's sister, Jessica Babbitt. Bridesmaids were Alissa Hart and Danielle Myslicki. The bride's cousin, Kristen Anderson, also participated.
Christopher Besoiu and David Besoiu performed the duties of best men for their brother. Serving as groomsmen were Joel Gilliland and Joseph Vansovich. Guests were ushered by Jon Sanders, Andrew Stewart and Kevin Sirey. The groom's nephew, Tate Besoiu was the ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Grove City College with a degree in marketing management. She is employed by VisitPittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa. The groom earned a degree in business management from Grove City College and is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the Pittsburgh area.
