XHUBBARD -- Matthew Morrison and his bride, the former Cori Melnick, honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, after their Nov. 18, 2006, wedding at St. Patrick Church.
The Rev. Timothy O'Neil officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
A reception was held that evening at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty for the daughter of Jeff and Pauli Melnick, 3009 Pothour Wheeler Road, and the son of Ed and Diane Morrison, 17260 Milton Ave., Lake Milton.
The bride's strapless A-line gown featured a corset back, a cutaway satin skirt with beadwork enhancing the organza insert panels and a chapel train.
Chocolate-brown gowns were worn by Erica McElhaney, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Laura Morrison, a sister of the groom, and Cheryl Svitak. The groom's cousins, Molly and Alexis Friedl, were flower girls.
Dan Hugli performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Pete Fannin and the bride's brother, Jeff Melnick.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in special education. She is employed by Constellations Community Schools as an intervention specialist at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities in Mantua.
The groom is an IT manager with Leonard Truck and Trailer in North Jackson. He graduated from Kent State University, Trumbull Campus, with a bachelor's degree in computer technology.
The Morrisons live in Ravenna.
