Black-Irwin engagement is announced
SOUTHINGTON -- The engagement of Jessica Black, 731 W. Kivett St., Asheboro, N.C., and James Irwin, 20-F Kingsway Road, also of Asheboro, is being announced by her parents, Charles and Linda Black, 3096 Warren-Burton Road.
Parents of the future groom are Sophia Heunisch of McMurray, Pa., and Gary Irwin of Pittsburgh.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony they have planned for July 14 at St. Joseph Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for an evening reception at Sorrento's Banquet Hall in Warren.
Miss Black graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in early childhood education. She is a first-grade teacher with Asheboro City Schools.
Mr. Irwin, a first-grade teacher with Asheboro schools, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies and from Chatham College with a master's in elementary education.
