Poland Chapter 2520, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Sept. 18 at Poland United Methodist Church, Route 224, following the 12:30 board meeting. The speaker will be Henry Nemenz, local businessman. Members are reminded to take nonperishable items for the food pantry.

Canfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church, where blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 1. Chris Zerich of Ohio Consumers Council will speak on "Energy Efficiency."
A few seats are available on the Oct. 4-6 Chicago trip and for the Nov. 19 Christmas dinner show in Erie, Pa.
The directors will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 25 at the church.

Liberty Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday at the upstairs youth hall of Church Hill United Methodist Church. Liberty Fire Department will provide blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m., and the meeting will begin at 11 with Wilda Clifton presiding. The program will be presented by Pat Ungaro, Liberty Township administrator. Hosts will be Dean and Rita Bruce, Millard Wilson and Lois Lloyd.
