XNILES -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 1 p.m. July 29 as the marriage of Melanie Profera and Brian Wishak, both of 820 New Jersey Ave., McDonald, was solemnized by the Rev. Tom Kraszewski at St. Stephen Church.
The couple were honored during a reception at DiVieste Banquet Hall in Warren before leaving for a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
They live at the McDonald address.
The bride, who was raised by her mother, Cheryl Profera, and Douglas Parker, both of 327 Hunter Ave., is a pharmacy technician with IPS in Warren.
The groom's parents are George and Barbara Wishak, 736 New York Ave., McDonald. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science and technology and is a systems developer with Alltel in Twinsburg.
The bride wore a strapless ivory taffeta gown with a chapel train.
Iridescent rose gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Ashley Parker of Athens, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Ward of Liberty, Tracy Ward of Girard, Leslie Ward of Niles and Tiffany Wishak of McDonald, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Amanda Franko of Fowler, his cousin.
Brian Hapcic of Portland, Maine, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Pieton of Girard, Naser Nagi of Columbus, Dom DiRubba of Liberty and the groom's cousin, Frank Tuscano of McDonald. Ring bearer was Dylan Ward of Liberty.
