XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Jenny Lynn DeCenso, 5508 Southern Blvd., Boardman, and Matthew Joseph Polkovitch, 1500 Alissa Place, Boardman, took place Aug. 19 at St. Christine Church.
Monsignor David Rhodes officiated at the noon ceremony.
A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman to honor the couple before they left on a wedding trip to the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Oahu. They live at 7037 Claybourne Ave.
Parents of the bride are Laurie and Ken Armstrong, 892 S. Fourth St. Loop, Selah, Wash., and Art and Kathy DeCenso, 30 Woodland Drive, New Middletown. The groom's parents are Eileen and Bill Polkovitch, 1500 Alissa Place. Boardman.
Silver, pearl and crystal beading adorned the bride's strapless satin A-line gown, and her veil was edged with crystals.
Coral gowns were worn by Tawnia Milligan, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Danielle Allen, Brooke Gentile, Carolyn Piper, Jenna Polkovitch, Christina Duritza, Stacie White and Melody McCrea. Junior bridesmaid was Allysia Milligan, and flower girl was Alana Petracci.
Joe Maloney performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jason DeCenso, Jeff DeCenso, Darren Burich, Rocco Rossi, Jim Sosnowski, Bill Duritza and Brian Canacci. Ring bearer was Angelo Petracci, and ushers were Kris Armstrong and Bill Gresko.
The bride is a loan officer with Beneficial of Ohio in Ravenna. The groom graduated from Akron Barber College and is a barber at The Razor's Edge in Boardman.
