XHUDSON -- The marriage of Jennifer Manchester, 1144 Cox Drive, Stow, and Joe Murphy, 3131 Englewood Drive, Stow, was solemnized by the Rev. Marshall Brandon during a 3 p.m. ceremony Aug. 5 at Hudson Community Chapel.
The daughter of Ted and Peggy Manchester, 2593 W. South Range Road, Columbiana, and the son of Paul and Irene Murphy of the Englewood Drive address, were honored at a reception held at Aker-Moore Memorial Post in Stow.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple live in Cuyahoga Falls.
The bride wore a strapless ivory gown with an asymmetrical front skirt overlay and chapel train. It was embellished with crystals, pearls and rhinestones.
Sky-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Beth Kavanaugh, the bride's cousin, and the bridesmaids, Laura Thompson, Jennifer Cameron, Emily Dodson and the bride's cousin, Sherri Shehan. Bailey and Rebekah Kellner, also her cousins, were junior bridesmaids.
Nathan Hudson served as best man, and groomsmen were Jim Murphy, the groom's brother; Chad Manchester, the bride's brother; John Babri; Eric St. Jean; and Scott Bortner.
A graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in education, the bride is a teacher at the Early Childhood Center in Hudson.
The groom, a reporter with Record Publishing Co. in Bedford, graduated from KSU with a bachelor's in newspaper journalism.
