Children host surprise party in celebration of Galmans' 44th

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 44th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Galman, 127 E. Myrtle Ave., was celebrated Aug. 12 during a surprise party held at the social hall of Celebrity Fashions.
Invitations for the event were extended by the couple's children, Bridget and Michel Warren, Samuel Galman III and Yvette Galman, all of Youngstown.
The Galman's also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The former Thelma Greene and Mr. Galman were united in marriage Aug. 18, 1962, at the home of the bride's parents in Campbell. They are members of Gospel Temple Baptist Church.
Mr. Galman enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958 and served until 1992. He was employed by General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 2000. His wife is a homemaker.
