Moran-Palmer troth announced, wedding planned

XPOLAND -- Announced by Jim and Kathy Moran of Poland is the engagement of their daughter, Maggie Moran, and Ryan Palmer, a son of Judi Greaney of Cloverdale, Calif., and John and Patty Palmer of Lincoln, Calif.
Miss Moran graduated from Ohio University and is a television producer who has worked on shows for the National Geographic Channel and NBC-TV. She is a published author and free-lance magazine writer and is currently producer/project coordinator at the Center for Advancement of Distance Education, School of Public Health, at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Mr. Palmer graduated from California State University in Chico, Calif., and received a master's degree from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a professional actor and has appeared in commercials and films. He is a course manager at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Ore.
The couple will be married Oct. 21 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and a reception will be held afterward in church hall. Invitations will be issued for both.
