Whetson-Wyant troth announced; wedding planned for early November

XAUSTINTOWN -- Ronald and Gayle Whetson, 470 N. Turner Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lynn M. Whetson, 5647 Calloway Circle, and David P. Wyant, 49 N. Cross St., Columbiana.
Parents of the future groom are Karen and Harold Oesch, 215 N. Elm St., Columbiana, and Donald and Suzie Wyant of Copen, W.Va.
The couple have chosen Old North Church in Canfield for their open wedding at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 4. Invitations will be issued for a reception to be held afterward at Old North Family Life Center.
The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration-marketing management. She is a development coordinator with the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, Youngstown.
The prospective groom, an airline pilot with Continental Express out of Cleveland, served with the U.S. Army and graduated from Ohio State University.
