Musicians union spreads joy

Musicians union spreads joy
EDITOR:
I would like to say a big than you to the musicians of Local 86-242FM. We are so fortunate to have some great bands in our area, and, yes, you can go to our beautiful area parks, health care centers and churches from Sunday through Thursday and listen free to these great bands. A great mixture of music, polkas, Italian, jazz, rock and roll and many others to please everyone. Every concert I have attended was awesome.
Thanks to the president of the musicians union, Del Sinchak, for doing such a great job.

What I did this summer
EDITOR:
This past summer I had a wonderful experience. I was reading The Vindicator when I spotted this article in the newspaper saying that the Village of McDonald was offering warm water aerobics. So I thought I would give it a try. Knowing that I wasn't getting any younger I was a little hesitant about going. But I thought, what the heck I'd give it a try.
Being 78 myself, I figured younger people would be there. To my surprise, they were all my age and older. But I went religiously to all the exercises. Only missed a few because they were having trouble with the pool. But I enjoyed it very much because all the women and one man were very nice and had a great time. And I hope they have it again soon.
I want to thank Mike Wasser, superintendent of McDonald Local School District; Dee Dee Howard and Cindy Green, the instructors, and all of my good friends who were there. And Marge Kish, who picked me up every day on time.

A tribute to professionals
EDITOR:
This is to commend the respective staffs of the West Boulevard Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Nursing Home and MVI Hospice Care. The treatment provided to our mother, Ann Marcis (Robart), was absolutely exemplary. They were responsive and truly dedicated professionals who tended to Mom as if she were their own.
May the Lord continue to bless their efforts.

A meal to remember
EDITOR:
After spending close to four months in the hospital for a vascular disease that claimed both my legs, I would like to thank all the responsible health care professionals who saved my life.
Recently I ventured outside my house for the first time to have dinner with my family at the Eat n Park in Boardman. Rayanne, our waitress, was wonderful. The manager, Michele was fantastic, to the point that she called the district manager, Mindy, and had the cost of our meals picked up at no charge.
I can't tell you how much this meant to me after all I have gone through. The tears I shed on the way out of the restaurant were tears of happiness. Thank you for being so very wonderful.
