XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held Aug. 4 at Stambaugh Auditorium in honor of William D'Angelo and his bride, the former Theresa Detec, who were married at 1:30 p.m. that day at St. Maron Church.
The Rev. Gary George officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Phil and Ann Detec of Boardman and the son of Ed and Patricia D'Angelo of New Middletown.
After a wedding trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple live in Youngstown.
Black gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Mary Jo Rimmel, and the bridesmaids, Stephanie Hamilla, her cousin; Kathy Lavorini, the groom's sister; Lori Dota; Valerie DiTommaso; Susanna Cingolani; Maureen LaCivita; Cheryl McGovern; and Christina Griffith. Junior bridesmaids were Jennifer Curchin; Brittany Rimmel, the bride's niece; and Nicole D'Angelo, the groom's niece. Flower girl was Addison Rimmel, her niece.
Performing the duties of best man was Myron Sahli, and groomsmen were Gregg and Brian D'Angelo, the groom's brothers; Phil Detec, brother of the bride; Brian Seifert; Chris Prater; George Mirich; Nate Hamilla, cousin of the bride; Brian Harnutovsky and Bruce Stroney. Ring bearer was Alex D'Angelo, nephew of the groom.
Mrs. D'Angelo is a teacher with Boardman Local Schools, and Mr. D'Angelo is a service technician with Pella Windows in Bedford Heights.
