Lowry jubilee is celebrated with their family

XLAKE MILTON -- The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. (Marylou) Lowry in Lake Milton was the setting Sept. 2 for a family gathering held to mark their 60th wedding anniversary.
Participating were their children and their spouses, Paul and Sue Ingold of Bethel Park, Pa.; John and Kathy Lowry of Beaver Falls, Pa.; Jan and Steve Thorn of Atwater; and Dan and Linda Lowry of Ellwood City, Pa. The family includes seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple were married Aug. 31, 1946, in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Lowry worked for many years at Zelie Office Equipment in Zelienople, Pa., and afterward was a dressmaker.
Mr. Lowry served with the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during World War II and received several military honors, including the Purple Heart. He served as a policeman in Pittsburgh for 25 years.
