KELLY SHANNONNICHOLAS HELLMAN
XCAMPBELL -- Kelly Shannon, a daughter of Edward and Linda Shannon, 3413 Dobbins Road, Poland, and Nicholas Hellman, 2204 Canfield Road, Youngstown, a son of James and Dolores Hellman, Boardman, were married July 29 at St. John the Baptist Church.
Officiating for the 2 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. Michael Swierz.
The couple were honored at a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman before leaving for Las Vegas and the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live at the groom's address.
A long white satin sash and sweep train added back interest to the bride's strapless white satin gown.
Erin Shannon, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore a lavender gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer Hellman, sister of the groom; Lisa Shannon, the bride's cousin; Layla Morris; Candace Barak; Ashley Warne; and Heather Orenic.
Best man was the groom's brother, Joseph Hellman, and groomsmen were the bride's brothers, Edward and Michael Shannon; Raymond Carney; Dominic Italiano; Michael Rucci; and Christopher Dugan. Junior groomsman was the bride's nephew, Brandon Shannon.
Mrs. Hellman earned a bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University and is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mr. Hellman is a firefighter with Youngstown Fire Department and is attending Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. He served three years with the U.S. Army.
