XPOLAND -- Monsignor William Connell officiated at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12 as Erin Marie Kijowski and Eric Scott Bodle, both of 3976 Wyndham Ridge, Stow, were married at Holy Family Church.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at the Youngstown Club, the couple left on a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The bride is a daughter of James and Christine Kijowski, 513 Wendemere Drive, Hubbard. The groom is a son of David and Sharon Bodle, 936 Linden Drive, Wooster.
The couple live in Stow.
The bride's strapless white lace and tulle gown was enhanced with beading and featured a dropped waistline and a chapel train.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Stephanie Rudd, and the bridesmaids, Jenny Kijowski, the bride's sister-in-law; Keri Spivey; Jenny Poole; and Beth Gillespie.
The duties of best man were performed the groom's brother, Chris Bodle, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Jamie Kijowski; Sean Conway; Doug Horst; and Greg McMillan. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Bryce Bodle.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in French at Denison University in Granville and her master's in French at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. She is pursuing a master's in education at the University of Akron.
The groom graduated from the College of Wooster with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He is pursuing a doctorate in chemistry at the University of Akron.
