XYOUNGSTOWN -- Dorothy Betras of Canfield and Dave Burke of Austintown were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony that took place July 30 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
The Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Dorothy Guidos of Struthers and the late Joseph Guidos, and the son of Maureen Burke of Austintown and Paul Burke of North Lima.
After a reception at the Springfield Grille in Boardman, the couple left on a wedding trip to Seneca Niagara in Buffalo, N.Y., and to Liverpool, N.Y.
They live in Austintown.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Joe Guidos of Lowellville, wore a black knee-length dress styled with a V-neckline.
Honor attendants were the bride's daughters, Tiffany and Alexandra Betras, both of Canfield.
The groom's daughters, Carissa and Morgan Burke, both of Austintown, were his attendants.
The bride, a licensed massage therapist, is a chiropractic assistant and massotherapist with Advanced Chiropractic in Boardman and a massotherapist at Austintown Oasis. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in food and nutrition and earned a diploma in massage therapy at the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron.
The groom attended YSU and is a driver-sales representative with Conway Central Express in Lordstown. He served with the U.S. Naval Reserves.
