Leonard Williams installed as Grand Master of Masons



DAYTON -- Leonard Williams Sr. was elected and installed as Grand Master of Masons of the Most Benevolent Grand Lodge of Ohio Inc., Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, during the 103rd Grand Session on Aug. 26 in Dayton.
Williams is active in Mount Horeb Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, having served as grand high priest. He is also eminent commander of Mount Herron Commandery 1, commander and chief of Dewell Davis Grand Consistory 1 and sovereign grand inspector general of the 33rd Degree.
He has also served as grand potentate of Abba Grand Council A.A.O.N.O.M.S. of Ohio.
A minister at Faith Temple Baptist Church in Campbell, Williams is a past chairman of the National Black Police Association and is president emeritus of the Black Knights Police Association.
A native of Youngstown, Williams graduated from Youngstown State University with a master's degree in criminal justice management and holds a doctorate in administration.
Williams and his wife, Diane, have five children and reside in northeast Ohio.
