ON THE INTERNET Cool Web sites

DANCE, DANCE: With dancing videos and foot-happy programs, more than a few Web sites are singing the body electric.
Pjotro.com is literally a dancing machine. Pjotro is an apparently young Russian man, described on the site as "the man with the musical suit."
He appears as an animated graphic dressed in a green and white spandex body suit with wires and sensors spanning across his muscles. By clicking on dance moves, you can make Pjotro dance either more "crazy," "smooth," "slow," "fast," "cool" or "sharp."
If you don't keep him dancing, though, he shuffles impatiently -- kind of like Sonic the Hedgehog used to do.
Also on the site is a bizarre appearance by Pjotro on a Russian TV show. The entire Web site is essentially "Footloose" meets Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen's character hailing from Kazakhstan.
There is a catch, though. The whole Web site, it seems, is all a viral marketing campaign for Nokia. Though the cell phone company is hardly present on the site, Pjotro gives a Nokia mobile his thumbs up on one page.
Nevertheless, Pjotro isn't the only one shaking a leg on the Net. Here are a few highlights:

Jessica Simpson's video for "A Public Affair" features star cameos from Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate and Ryan Seacrest -- but none of them has anything on the 2 Chinese Boys. The duo has been one of YouTube's biggest sensations. Their enthusiastic, devoted lip-synching of old Backstreet Boys songs have been watched by millions, and now, they've turned to Simpson's new single. The setup is simple: two guys sitting right in front of the camera, with a somehow essential kid sitting at a computer in the background.

I'm From Barcelona is actually a band from Sweden. Numbering more than two dozen, this ensemble is led by Emanuel Lundgren, who's listed as "the principle" on the band's Web site. Watch the video for "We're From Barcelona" on YouTube or stream it on their MySpace page. However you take it in, it will likely cheer you up. Lundgren sings: "We'll aim for the stars/ We'll aim for your hearts when the night comes."
