Warren organization to mark 90th anniversary of founding



WARREN -- The YWCA of Warren, 375 N. Park Ave., will celebrate its 90th year in the Warren community during a dinner to be held Nov. 7 at the Grand Pavilion at Avalon Lakes Golf Course, 1 American Way, Howland.
Featured at the event will be cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6. The keynote speaker will be Kathy Cleveland Bull, who conducts personal and professional development seminars for Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Bull has trained more than 50,000 people to successfully manage change in their work and lives.
Those attending the event will receive the 90th Anniversary Commemorative Book of the YWCA, which reviews the history of the organization and is filled with photos and facts about its first 90 years of service.

Established in 1916 when membership reached 700, the YWCA has provided a place where women and girls can expand their limits, improve their health and discover inner strengths.
