Vows are renewed as Daileys mark 50th anniversary



ESTERO, Fla. -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Dailey, 23192 Marsh Landing Blvd., formerly of Deer Trail Avenue, Canfield, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 28 by renewing their nuptial vows during a Mass at St. Brendan Church, Youngstown, where they were married on Oct. 27, 1956.
Afterward the couple were honored by family and friends at a dinner party held at the Lockwood House in Boardman.
Invitations for the observance were issued by their children, Laura L. Kelly of Atlanta, Suzanne M. Shick of Poland, Joseph C. Dailey of Phoenix and Daniel J. Dailey of Silver Springs, Md.
There are eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the family.
Mrs. Dailey, the former Judith A. Costello, retired in 2000 from Mahoning County Department of Human Services in Youngstown, where she was an account clerk. She also worked as a personnel assistant for Strouss/Kaufmann in Austintown. She is Marsh Landing social director and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Florida.
Mr. Dailey was a maintenance supervisor with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 2000. He is a member of the Marsh Landing Board of Directors and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Dailey are members of St. Leo Church in Florida.
