AUSTINTOWN -- Jamaica is the honeymoon destination of Jeffrey Christian Griffin and his bride, the former Vikki Lynn Jenkin, who were united in marriage by the Rev. James Leone Sr. during a 1 p.m. ceremony Oct. 28 at Highway Tabernacle.
A reception was held afterward at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride is a daughter of Sandra Jenkin, 2650 Homestead Road, Youngstown, and the late David R. Jenkin, and the groom is a son of Margaret Poole Griffin, 1315 Yardley Terrace, Winston-Salem, N.C.
The couple will live at 5704 Fox Chase Drive, Winston-Salem.
The bride's white satin gown was enhanced with a beaded bodice and featured cap sleeves.
Tracey Kowalski of Holly, Mich., the honor attendant, wore an antique-gold gown. Wearing apple-red gowns were the bridesmaids, Cindy Jenkin of Vail, Ariz., the bride's sister-in-law; Leslie Shubert of Canfield, her cousin; and Jennifer Haydysch of Raleigh, N.C.
The duties of best man were performed by Larry Hurych of Winston-Salem, and serving as groomsmen were David Jenkin of Vail, the bride's brother; Clay Fearrington of Lutz, Fla.; Michael Wilson of Hartford, Conn.; and Ken Winfrey of Winston-Salem.
Mrs. Griffin, a flight attendant with Express Jet Airlines out of Cleveland, graduated from South Eastern Academy of Travel and Tourism in Kissimmee, Fla.
Mr. Griffin, who attended North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, is an on-air personality with CBS Radio in Winston-Salem and is the voice of the Deamon Deacons at Wake Forest University.
