Van Dyke 60th is observed at Stacey Pavilion

GIRARD -- The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Earl N. Van Dyke of Girard was celebrated Oct. 21 at Stacey Pavilion in Austintown.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Leslee and Richard Reigelman of Champion and Larry and Linda Van Dyke of Dayton, and their nieces, Sally DeJesus of Austintown and Susan Riggs of McDonald. Completing the family are two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Mr. Van Dyke and the former Gloria June Mohney were married Oct. 19, 1946, at Loys Corner Evangelical Church.
Mrs. Van Dyke retired in 1991 from her position as director of activities at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.
Mr. Van Dyke served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was chief of transportation with the Youngstown Board of Education prior to retiring in 1983.
