Gussie jubilee marked at theater and at dinner

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gussie of Liberty Township, was celebrated during a family vacation held Oct. 13 and 14 in Lancaster, Pa.
The family attended a play at the Sight and Sound Theatre and a dinner afterward at the Revere Inn.
Hosts for the festivities were the couple's daughters and sons-in-law, David and Danielle Lazor of Liberty Township and Denise and Joseph Stadalski of Austintown. There are three grandchildren in the family.
St. Thomas Aquinas Church in California, Pa., was the setting Oct. 13, 1956, as Mr. Gussie and the former Margaret Ballas were united in marriage. They are members of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.
Mrs. Gussie retired in 1997 as a counter-service representative with Mahoning National Bank in Youngstown.
Mr. Gussie served with the U.S. Army and was a millwright with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 2001.
