"The Exorcist" (8 p.m., AMC): Monster Week continues with director William Friedkin's 1973 tale of satanic possession. An actress calls upon Jesuit priests to scare the devil out of her 12-year-old daughter, played by Linda Blair. Also stars Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow and Lee J. Cobb.
"Without a Trace" (10 p.m., CBS): It's milestone time for "Without a Trace" as the crime procedural airs its 100th episode and former "ER" star Eriq La Salle drops by to celebrate. He guest stars as a missing family man haunted by his horrific experience during the floods of Hurricane Katrina.
"House" (1 p.m., USA Network): Here's a prescription for a fall afternoon: Take 10 hours of the hit Fox drama and go sit on the couch.
"Vampire Secrets" (8 p.m., History Channel): The Channel About Things That Happened looks at vampires and how they bite into many different cultures.
"Desperate Housewives" (9 p.m., ABC): In tonight's new episode, Susan declares her love for Ian, while Gaby and Carlos try to regain what they have lost and Bree confronts Orson's past.
