Court resolves dispute over Warren alley

WARREN -- A judge has ruled on part of a long-standing dispute involving an alley between the Comfort Inn hotel and Robert Creagar, the adjacent property owner.
On Friday, Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court ruled that the Comfort Inn, 136 N. Park Ave., and Robert Creagar, owner of a building at 144-148 North Park Ave., could continue to use the alley for motor or foot traffic but not for parking.
In December 2004, Creagar filed suit against the city for more than 20 parking tickets the police officers issued to vehicles parked in the alley.
The dispute between Creagar and Comfort Inn became a separate part of the suit. Creagar's dispute with the city remains unresolved.
