YOUNGSTOWN -- The Sept. 30 wedding of Christina Griffith and Genesis Brown took place at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Church and was followed by a reception at Stambaugh Auditorium.
After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, the Browns live in Cleveland.
James and Barbara Griffith of Boardman are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Micki Ansberry-Brown of Huron.
The bride's white satin gown was adorned with crystals.
Wearing garnet-colored gowns were Becca Patrick, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Theresa D'Angelo; Lana Rees, the groom's sister; Cathy Wunder, his sister-in-law; Shawn Chrystal, the bride's sister-in-law; and Jennifer Curchin. The groom's niece, Tessa Wunder, was flower girl.
Micah Brown was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Abel Brown and Kismet Wunder, the groom's brothers; Jon Rees, his brother-in-law; and Mark and Michael Griffith, brothers of the bride. Ring bearers were Keighan Griffith, the bride's nephew, and Levi Wunder, nephew of the groom.
The bride, a human-resources director with a Lake County organization in Mentor, graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree in public administration and from Cleveland State University with a master's in labor relations and human resources. The groom earned a bachelor's in communications and political science at John Carroll University and a juris doctorate at Cleveland State University. He is employed at Hyland Software in Westlake.
