AUXILIARIES
Auxiliary of the Children's Aid Society of Mercer County has changed its next meeting to 10 a.m. Nov. 3 due to Election Day. Plans will be made for a Christmas garland holiday fundraiser. New members are welcome.
Flora McDonald Auxiliary will meet for lunch at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Shepherd of the Valley on Western Reserve Road, Boardman.
CLASSES
Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny's restaurant, Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.
CLUBS
Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church for a casserole luncheon. Hostesses will be Marge Allmon and Hazel Freeze. The craft will be making 9-by-9 squares for blankets. Those attending should take 4-ply acrylic yarn and a hook.
Poland Women's Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the home of Ruth Ebert. The theme will be "Holiday Auction." Guests are welcome. Hostesses will be Kathy Sovik, Nancy Wilber and Terry Wittenauer.
Seton III will meet for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Overtures Restaurant. Afterward members will take a guided tour of the 7th District Court of Appeals. Mary Rita Carney and her committee, Martha Conroy, Catherine Coyle, Carol Franken, Claranne McCloud, Joan Oles, Florence Reardon and Jinx Storey, will be hostesses. Members are asked to take one-size-fits-all stocking hats, gloves and scarves to the November and December meetings for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon's Book Club and Coffee Group will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at 875 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa., to begin a four-week discussion of "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. There is no fee. Youngstown Women's Connection will have a "Road Signs of Life" guest day luncheon Nov. 14 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and lunch is at noon. A special feature will be presented by Frank Marzullo of WFMJ TV-21, special music will be by Dale Wilson, and the speaker will be Tom Ford. St. Rose Quilting Group meets at 10 a.m. every Wednesday at the parish house.United Methodist Women of Richard Brown United Methodist Church Thursday at the church after the 12:15 p.m. executive committee meeting. Ruby Kuhns will preside, and lunch will be served at 1 p.m. by Karen Myers and her committee. Marilyn Blewitt will give the blessing. A program on "World Thank Offering" will be presented by Jo Holt.
