Police coax man from city house
YOUNGSTOWN -- Police spent about a half-hour coaxing a man out of a South Side house after he slammed the door when they tried to arrest him on a warrant.
Reports said there was another person in the house when they arrived Wednesday night.
At first police feared a hostage situation but are now investigating if the owner of the house at Marion and Belleview avenues aided the man in eluding them.
Police had been searching for the man for two days, according to reports. No other details were available Wednesday night.
