A picture's worth a million gallons (or more)

Construction, which is expected to be completed in 2007, continues on a new water tower on Kirk Road, with a freshly painted designation that the township's water supplier is the city of Youngstown. The 200-foot-tall tower, which will hold 1.5 million gallons of water, replaces 150-foot-tall ones on Kirk Road and Red Apple Drive. City officials said the additional height will increase water pressure to customers experiencing water-pressure problems in some parts of Austintown, Boardman, Canfield and Youngstown.
