3 arraigned in Subway robbery

YOUNGSTOWN -- A woman and two men accused of taking part in the armed robbery of the Subway restaurant on West Rayen Avenue were arraigned Wednesday in municipal court by Judge Robert P. Milich.
The Subway was robbed around 11:15 a.m. Monday. The suspects were caught in a minivan on the East Side with 170 from the sandwich shop.
Bond for Willie H. Anderson, 54, of North Bruce Street was set at 500,000. He is charged with aggravated robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and having a weapon under disability, based on a prior conviction.
Dana C. Guarnieri, assistant city prosecutor, said Anderson's criminal history includes armed robbery, kidnapping and sexual battery.
Bond for James Stephenson III, 26, of Deer Creek Court, Austintown was set at 100,000. He is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery.
Guarnieri said Stephenson, whose record includes drug abuse and domestic violence, was the getaway driver.
Bond for Develyn Greene, 37, of Laurie Drive, Austintown was set at 150,000. She, too, is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery.
Guarnieri said Greene has an extensive criminal record locally and in Georgia that includes prostitution and child molestation and has used at least seven aliases.
The three defendants will be back in court Nov. 2 for a preliminary hearing.
