Oct. 16
Attempted breaking and entering: Someone tried to break into Office Max, 427 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Money was removed from a coin-operated dryer at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Shields Road.
Criminal damaging: A plastic mailbox was damaged in the 80 block of Sugar Cane Drive.
Theft: A couple left Perkins Family Restaurant, 804 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying their food bill.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after 92 worth of clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Auto theft: A 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was missing from Taylor Kia of Boardman, 7975 Market St.
Theft: A 32-year-old Boardman man faced a theft charge after being accused of stealing items from Macy's in the Southern Park Mall.
Auto theft: A woman reported the theft of her 1978 Cadillac DeVille after leaving Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported her cellular phone stolen while at Arthur Treacher's Fish & amp; Chips, 5188 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Drugs: Authorities charged a Youngstown man, 20, with one felony count of trafficking in drugs after pulling him over in the 30 block of Shields Road. Police said they saw the man toss bags of suspected crack cocaine and pills from his car.
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Melbourne Avenue reported Halloween decorations stolen.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of pumpkins from her home in the 6700 block of Trenholm Road.
Citation: A 19-year-old Youngstown man was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana after being stopped in the township.

Theft: A woman reported a prescription stolen while at Brown's Drug Store & amp; Gift Shop, 5106 Southern Blvd.
Bad check: A West Boulevard man reported getting a bad check.
Theft: Two Boardman girls, 14 and 15, faced theft charges after being accused of taking clothing from the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: A 38-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after groceries were stolen from Family Dollar, 4030 Market St.
Theft: A 14-year-old North Lima girl accused of stealing three shirts from the J.C. Penney store was charged with one count of theft.
Theft: Items were stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 307 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A woman reported her 1989 Chevy Beretta stolen from Applebee's Restaurant Neighborhood Grill & amp; Bar, 6691 South Ave.
Breaking and entering: Three Youngstown men, 37, 44 and 46, faced breaking-and-entering charges after police say they were caught in the act of breaking into Ride Power Sports, 7661 South Ave. One of the men also was charged with three felony counts of possession of criminal tools; the third man faced additional charges of obstructing official business, possession of criminal tools and escape. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, and fled, officers said.
Recovered property: Police found a rental truck at Youngstown Sports Grill, 7463 South Ave., after the vehicle had been stolen in Beaver Township.

Theft: Authorities charged a 20-year-old Youngstown woman with theft. She was accused of taking women's clothing and baby shoes from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A patient left Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, 6505 Market St., with someone else's medications.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for gasoline.
Theft: A man reported property stolen from his car outside Pat Catan's Craft Center, 6151 South Ave.
Theft: A Boardman man, 22, was charged with theft after two bottles of cologne were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Robbery: Police charged a 33-year-old Youngstown man with complicity to aggravated robbery during a robbery investigation at a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd. Authorities said a witness saw him leaving a vehicle involved in the crime.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.
Drugs: Officers filed a felony charge of possession of drugs against a 20-year-old Boardman man after stopping his car near Midlothian Boulevard and Hillman Way. The man had four packages of suspected heroin, police said.
Arrest: A 35-year-old Mathews Road woman was turned over to Portage County authorities after police learned she was wanted on a warrant from that county. The original charge was passing bad checks.
Oct. 19
Drug paraphernalia: A traffic stop was conducted near Applewood Boulevard after police said they saw a man standing on a vehicle's bumper while the car was in motion. A 21-year-old Boardman man was charged with possession of marijuana and was wanted on a warrant charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A man discovered his truck was broken into while he was at Lowe's, 1100 Doral Drive. A hammer, a drill and a circular saw were stolen.
Theft: A worker at a Shell gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, told police two people shortchanged the business 20.
Theft: A Terrace Drive man noticed the rear license plate missing from his vehicle.
Attempted theft: A man trying to steal a woman's purse was stopped before leaving Creekside Fitness, 1419 Boardman-Canfield Road. The purse was returned.
Theft: A woman who owns several vacant lots in the township discovered trees had been cleared without permission.
Theft: A worker at Burger King, 841 Boardman-Poland Road, reported her wallet stolen.
Attempted burglary: An Afton Avenue woman told officers she awoke to a loud crash and later found a basement window open. Nothing was missing.
Arrest: A 22-year-old Boardman man was charged with obstructing official business and leaving the scene of an accident after a woman at Ke-Mas Auto Service, 4720 Lake Park Road, reported her car had been struck by a driver who fled. The man also concocted a story about his vehicle being stolen, police said.
Criminal damaging: An Applecrest Court man reported a fire extinguisher was used to smash his car's windshield.
Oct. 20
Arrest: Officers nabbed a 23-year-old Youngstown man after an employee at Southgate Pizza, 5152 Southern Blvd., said he presented a check on a closed account. He was charged with forgery and receiving stolen property.
Burglary/vandalism: An apartment in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road was broken into and an epithet was spray-painted on a bedroom wall.
Burglary: A man called police after his father's home in the 100 block of Wildwood Drive was broken into and ransacked. A rear door had been kicked in and a phone line cut, he reported.
Auto theft: A 2006 Ford Taurus was stolen from Sweeney Youngstown Buick, 7997 Market St.
Criminal damaging: Two girls leaving the Southern Park Mall noticed their vehicle's tires had been slashed.
Theft: Three Youngstown girls, two age 14 and one age 16, were arrested after a 28 sweat suit was stolen from Sears. One teenager was charged with theft and the other two with complicity to theft.
Arrest: A 28-year-old Farrell, Pa., man was picked up during a traffic stop on South Avenue and charged with' having fictitious license plates. He was wanted on a warrant from the Mercer County, Pa., district attorney's office charging him with failure to appear to answer a disorderly-conduct charge.
Domestic violence: A Boardman man, 20, surrendered to police on a domestic-violence charge. The man's girlfriend alleged he struck her in the head during an argument at their Boardman-Canfield Road residence.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone tossed a rock at his vehicle as he drove near Market Street and Ferncliff Avenue.
