Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley is sponsoring an online holiday auction to be held from Nov. 6 to Dec. 1. Available will be quality merchandise and services donated by merchants, service businesses and individuals. Featured will be such things as a week at a Florida condo, gift baskets, gift certificates, tickets for sporting events, concerts and shows, and meals at area restaurants. CRAFT SHOWS
The annual Old Hickory Craft Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hickory High School, 640 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa. There will be more than 100 crafters, a Chinese auction and homemade lunches. Proceeds benefit the school band program.
SALES
Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., Campbell, will hold a twice-loved treasures garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the Rev. L.W. Childress scholarship fund. For more information, call the church, (330) 755-3130.
HOME TOURS
East Palestine Town and Country Garden Club will sponsor "A Time for Remembrance" two-day tour of five homes and the Historical Society Log House, which will be decorated in a variety of themes. Hours for the event are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 11. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days by members of Unity Grange. SPECIAL EVENTS
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown will hold an adult (BYOB) Halloween party from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday.The cost is $15.A buffet will be served from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and will feature, chicken, ham, vegetable medley, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, tossed salad, rolls, coffee, tea and soft drinks. A disc jockey will provide music from 7:30 to 10:30. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Reservations can be made for groups of eight or more by calling (330) 270-0650 from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.
