Mraz anniversary observed at Mass and dinner party



CAMPBELL -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mraz, 496 Harmony Lane, celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 15 by attending the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Elizabeth Church, where they are members.
Afterward they were honored at a family dinner held at Alberini's Restaurant in Warren.
The celebration began when the couple, their daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Dr. Mike Doctor of Petoskey, Mich., and Tom and Marisa Robbins of Park City, Utah, and their five grandchildren vacationed together at Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nev.
Mr. Mraz and the former Margaret Stransky were united in marriage Oct. 13, 1956, at St. Ann Church in Farrell, Pa.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Mraz was a tabulator in the IBM Department for Golden Dawn Wholesalers in Sharon, Pa., and also worked part time for the Center for Learning at Villa Marie High School.
After serving overseas with the military, Mr. Mraz was a member of Campbell Police Department, where he retired as a lieutenant after 32 years of service.
