BOARDMAN --James McClain Berry and his bride, the former Michelle Lynn Swoger, left on a honeymoon to Mexico and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., after their Sept. 16 wedding at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Robert Quaintance presided for the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Swoger III, 4492 Viall Road, Austintown, and Mr. and Mrs. William A. Blott Sr., 3819 Kirk Road, Austintown.
Pearls and sequins adorned the bride's white, strapless, A-line gown, and the skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Kelly Bates was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Lisa Rouse, Amy Lederman, Michelle Marcum, Maggie Beckett, Sherri Kroeck, Amber Vandenbosch and Amy Byrns. Junior bridesmaid was Hailey Durkin, and flower girls were Liliana Bach and Briannah Berry.
Dean Parry was best man, and groomsmen were Sam Swoger IV, William Blott Jr., Mike Tobin, D.J. Snake, Chris Ratliff, Vince Allen and Chris Phillips. Junior groomsman was Jonathan Bates, and ring bearers were Dylan Blott and Zachary Berry.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is a medical assistant/receptionist with Drs. Paul Rich and Daniel Brown in Liberty.
The groom, the owner of JB Productions, Promotions and Securities Inc., Austintown, served with the U.S. Marine Corps and is in the Ohio Army National Guard.
