Performances set
The entertainment area, "Towne Square," will showcase the talents of many Lawrence County youths. Lawrence County's Junior Miss, Katie Stoner, and the Junior Miss finalists for 2007 will be performing, as well as Dance Implosion Competition Teams and the New Castle Regional Ballet.
Other entertainment includes the Sankey Stomp Team, Juggling Infernos, martial arts demonstration, and Porgie the Clown's Balloon Art and Magic Show.
New Castle Police will have a K-9 demonstration and offer fingerprinting for every child's protection. Along with free entertainment will be hourly drawing giveaways throughout the day.
Big slide
The Family Fun Arena will be full of sports and games and host a 16-foot inflatable slide and 15-foot bounce house. More than 25 interactive displays will feature face painting, hair art, and hands-on arts and crafts demonstrations.
Neshannock Band Boosters will supply a low priced kid-friendly concession area. Photo opportunities will be available throughout the day with characters such as Tender Teddy and McGruff the crime-fighting dog.
The event will introduce the youths to service agencies and businesses in the Lawrence County area while raising awareness to the needs that can be met within the community.
