Austintown Schools will sponsor an Austintown Senior Citizens Dinner to be served at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 at Austintown Fitch High School, Falcon Drive, Austintown. The cost will be 2 at the door. Reservations are required by Nov. 3 by calling (330) 797-3900, ext. 1501.
Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, All That Jazz at 9 a.m., follies at 12:30 p.m. and bridge at 1; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, chorus at 12:30 p.m. and digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., computer at 10 a.m. and noon, tai chi at noon and yoga and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., DJ Stitchers at 10, exercises at noon, square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3; and Friday, scheduled fun days and parties. Also planned: Wednesday, Anderson bus tour to Seneca Niagara; Thursday, Boardman Fun Day; Friday, Youngstown Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and nurses from Senior Independence Home Health will give flu shots to area seniors 10 a.m. to noon.
