Extension cords used to steal electricity from medical office

ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) -- Police suspect that electric power was stolen through two heavy-duty extension cords strung nearly 100 feet from a medical office building to a home.
No immediate arrests have been reported, police Lt. Andy Eichenlaub said. It wasn't known how much electricity might have been stolen.
Authorities were tipped by a firefighter whose wife works at the medical building. A man who came to the door of the house when police arrived Wednesday said he was just visiting.
Police in this Northeast Ohio community said the two extension cords were strung from a socket of the medical building to a window of a house to the rear.
