BEREA -- Mike Jorris threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon and Nate Kmic scored on a 3-yard run to propel Mount Union. Kmic ran for 215 yards on 33 carries and had four catches for 37 yards for the top-ranked Purple Raiders (7-0, 6-0 Ohio Conference). Jorris completed 9-of-17 passes for 113 yards and ran for 23 yards on three carries. The Yellow Jackets (5-2, 4-2) had only 10 yards rushing and 123 passing. Anthony Gardner was 11-of-25 passing for 113 yards for Baldwin-Wallace.
Denison 42, Hiram 7
HIRAM -- Hiram was led by freshman running back Jon Agnew, who rushed for 14 yards on eight carries. Denison led 14-0 after the first quarter and 21-0 at halftime. Denison (1-6) is 1-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Terriers are 0-7, 0-4.
Walsh 37, Ohio Dominican 31
NORTH CANTON -- Marc Pullen threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Mike McGill on the last play of the game to lift Walsh. The touchdown came 29 seconds after Ohio Dominican tied the score on a 7-yard TD pass to Jared Stace from Cris Reisert. Pullen finished 10-of-20 for 228 yards and two touchdowns for Walsh (8-0, 3-0 Mid-States Football Association). Antwain' Reine ran for 99 yards on 26 carries and scored on a 2-yard run in the first quarter. Rob Lash scored on a 46-yard pass from Pullen and returned a punt 79 yards for a score. Reisert finished 40-of-54 for 309 yards and two touchdown passes for Ohio Dominican (4-3, 1-2).
St. Francis, Ind. 34, Malone 13
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Eric Hooks threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns as St. Francis recorded its 48th straight regular-season victory and coach Kevin Donley's 200th career win. Malone took an early 6-0 lead on two field goals, but St. Francis answered with a 7-yard TD run by Doug Wasylk to take the lead for good. A 65-yard interception return by Brian Kurtz in the fourth quarter capped a 34-0 run for the Cougars (7-0, 4-0 MSFA). Brad Reifsnyder threw for 290 yards and ran for a touchdown to lead Malone (4-3, 2-2).
Washington & amp; Jefferson 52,Grove City 18
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Ryan Mendel ran for five touchdowns to lead Washington & amp; Jefferson. Mendel, who rushed for 130 yards on 24 carries, scored on three 1-yard runs in the first half, and runs of 1 and 7 yards in the third quarter. W & amp;J (6-1, 3-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference) also scored on a pair of touchdown passes by Bobby Swallow (West Branch), who completed 12-of-17 passes for 200 yards. Grove City (1-6, 1-5) was led by Andrew DiDonato, who threw for a touchdown and ran for another. DiDonato completed 17-of-24 passes for 183 yards and a TD.
Waynesburg 34, Thiel 24
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Tres Cobb threw for one touchdown and ran for another to pace Waynesburg. Cobb completed 14-of-18 passes for 162 yards and connected with Mike Shields on a 12-yard scoring pass in the first quarter. He also scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter. Waynesburg (4-3, 4-0 PAC) also scored on runs of 2 and 1 yards by Ryan Abels and field goals of 31 and 24 yards by Ben Popson. Abels rushed for 103 yards on 22 carries. Billy Blankenship threw three touchdown passes for Thiel (4-4, 3-2). Blankenship completed 19 of 36 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns, but was intercepted twice and sacked four times.
Westminster 49, Bethany 13
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Kevin Franz threw two touchdown passes and ran for another for Westminster. Franz completed 18-of-28 passes for 212 yards and connected with Jake Buzard on a 15-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and with Jordan Balosh on a 4-yard TD in the third quarter. Franz also scored on a 1-yard sneak in the fourth quarter. Westminster (2-5, 1-3 PAC) also scored on a 64-yard interception return by Josh Weese, an 80-yard pass from Brett Myers to Chad Rosatelli, a 6-yard run by Josh Kutzner and a 1-yard run by Nick McKolosky. Fred Romeo (Poland) was 7-for-7 on conversion kicks.
Slippery Rock 35, Lock Haven 0
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- A. J. Saunders scored touchdowns on runs of 4 and 16 yards to lead Slippery Rock (5-3, 2-2). The Rock jumped out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter and led 28-0 at the half. Crookshank was 16-for-21 for 171 yards.
Wooster 27, Allegheny 21
WOOSTER -- Backup quarterback Bobby Reiff threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Shaun Swearingen on the last play of the game for Wooster (6-1, 3-1 NCAC). Schafer finished 11-of-28 for 94 yards and rushed for 101 yards on 18 carries. He threw one interception. Mario Tarquinio scored twice for the Gators (4-3, 2-2). He ran for a 1-yard touchdown and then caught a two-point conversion to tie the score at 21 with 12:37 left. Tarquinio finished with 87 yards on 25 carries. Allegheny quarterback Jimmy Savage was 21-of-42 passing for 224 yards.
