Members of Boardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, are to take canned goods and paper products for the Rescue Mission to their meeting at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Holiday Inn, South Avenue, Boardman. The menu choices are turkey or grilled filet of salmon. Cost is 12.50 each, and reservations should be made by Thursday by sending a check with the entree choice to Helen Day, 543 W. Holy Family Seniors canceled their meeting Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Poland because of work being done on the hall's heating system. Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at Founder's Hall for lunch, cards and bingo. Hostesses will be Theresa Sebena, Ethel Cook, Martha Huff and Ann Smith. Dues of 3 will collected, and officers will be nominated.

Liberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church Hill United Methodist Church with Wilda Clifton presiding. The speaker will be Jodi Stoyak, Liberty trustee, who will discuss the township, its growth, needs and future. Hosts will be Margaret Wilster and Ken and Wilda Clifton. Pizza and cider will be served. Guests are welcome.

Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 Retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Local 717 Union Hall, Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave. Those attending should take labeled covered dishes and table service. This month's speaker will be Judge Diane Grendell. Tickets for the Christmas party will be available for purchase before the meeting. Canned goods and nonperishable items will be collected for the Warren Rescue Mission. The Center for Hearing will conduct free hearing tests and ear-wax removal before the meeting.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding. A report will be given by Verna Dues, who, along with Betty DeFiore and Wilda Himes, will also serve lunch.

School Employees Retirement Organization, Chapter 19, will open the fall season Thursday at Denny's Restaurant, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m., and there will be a speaker from SERS who will discuss insurance issues. All classified school retirees are invited.
SILVER AND GOLD
Silver and Gold Seniors will meet Tuesday at St. Stephen of Hungary Church after a noon Mass. Irene Bobovecz and Anne Milich will serve as hostesses. Bingo will be played, and there will be a raffle and 50-50 drawing. Anyone unable to attend should call (330) 782-6876.
TEAMSTERS 377
Rich Cunningham will preside when Teamsters 377 Retirees meets at noon Thursday at the union hall in Youngstown. Refreshments will be served. All retirees and their spouses are welcome.
