YOUNGSTOWN -- Tony Trolio's Ciaio Promotions will present the Rat Pack in a dinner-show on Dec. 7 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall.
The Rat Pack consists of Gary Corsello as Frank Sinatra, Lonnie Taylor as Sammy Davis Jr. and Steve Apple as Dean Martin. Direct from Las Vegas, their tribute show transports audiences to a period when all three of the superstars were at the prime of their careers.
The trio was known for its exciting stage shows nightly in the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Their show would set the standard for '60s Vegas shows.
The Rat Pack recreates the show with authenticity. Critics have said it's as close as any person could come to experiencing the original Rat Pack.
Monroe tribute
Also included in the evening is "Some Like It Marilyn," a tribute to Marilyn Monroe by Janet Valentine. The looks, voice and moves of Monroe are captured by Valentine, who wears dozens of replica costumes.
Dinner music will be provided by The Corner Pocket, featuring local musicians Gabriel Toth on keyboards and Tommy Butch on horns.
The dinner and show are 39.95, with cash bar. Tables of eight can be reserved; all other seats will be assigned. There is a group and seniors citizen discount price of 36. Call (330) 757-2779 for more information.
