Cops seek 2 men in shootings

SHARON, Pa. -- Police are searching for two men who they think are involved in shootings on Mesabi Street.
Police said multiple gunshots were fired at a 35-year-old Warren man at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Mesabi Street. The victim was not hurt.
Police said the gunman was seen leaving in a green sport-utility vehicle. They believe eight shots were fired.
Police issued an arrest warrant for criminal attempted homicide issued for Lyndell Odem, 24, who police believe lives in Youngstown.
Police said at 1:28 a.m. Wednesday a Sharon police officer heard multiple shots in the 300 block of Mesabi.
The officer said a 22-year-old Hermitage man told him he was in a vehicle parked in the area when the gunman approached and fired five shots into the vehicle. The victim was grazed by a bullet in the leg, but did not require medical attention, police said.
Police said they found a 9 mm semiautomatic pistol nearby. Police issued an arrest warrant for Herman Dajuan Hughes III, 19, of Detroit in relation to that shooting.
Police reports did not indicate how officers received information Odem and Hughes were involved in the shootings.
Police said a van bearing Michigan registration was stopped and searched during the investigation of Wednesday's shooting and a passenger, Erik Abram, 19, of Spearman Avenue, Farrell, was arrested on a charge of possession of suspected crack cocaine. The driver, who was not identified by police, was cited for driving without a license. Police said the driver was from Detroit.
